ABOUT ME
Eve Peters

Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I was an entrepreneur, founder, and aspiring lawyer. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute, a J.D. from UC Berkeley, and a B.A. from Stanford. With this background, I bring rigor and pragmatism to the practice of therapy. I want to help you see yourself and your reality clearly, then help you heal, grow as a person, and change your life for the better.
The parts of my life that have most shaped me into the therapist that I am include experiences with high ambition and stress, a painful and vision-threatening autoimmune disease, dating and romantic relationships, complex family of origin dynamics, and becoming a mother. These have been my greatest teachers.
In my practice with individuals I lean on psychodynamic therapy, existential therapy, DBT, somatic work, meditation, and mindfulness. In my work with couples, I draw from Sue Johnson’s attachment based work in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, as well as the wisdom of Esther Perel.
My clients tend to be high-achieving and aspirational — people who are ready to dive deep and uncover the hidden layers in themselves. If you are questioning things, seeking something, struggling in your relationship, or just need to process a whole lot of life that has happened to you, I encourage you to reach out.
